Hi guys! Today I'm going to review a magic sponge from Daiso, called the Melamine Sponge! Not sure if you have heard of it but this little sponge went viral and now is hot selling in Daiso for it's cleaning ability. Just at the right time that my white shoe is really dirty and my sis somewhere nearby Daiso so I asked her to get one pack for me.
So, ask you can see from the packaging, one pack contains 30 sponges for the price of RM5.90 for 30 little sponges. (so sad Daiso is no longer the RM5 store, it is now RM5.90)
When I was googling about this stuff I found out there are 2 more different color packaging - red and green. There are of different sponge sizes and number of sponges. This blue packaging that I got has the most number (30) of sponges as it is the smallest in size (3cm x 3cm x 3cm). I picked this one because I just want to use it to clean my shoe 😂 One piece of sponge can probably clean 2-3 shoe?
How to use it? Basically you just damp the sponge a little and you can start to do your cleaning. I did not try it on other surfaces/materials yet because I wasn't sure if it is going to work or not so I tested it on my leather shoe.

You might think, there are not much different! So sorry for that it is probably because I am not that dirty ass kind of person to let it become total black before cleaning it and I did not zoom in close enough and show the sides. If you see it in real, it was obviously quite dirty. I actually tried cleaning it with tissue but it was quite hard to clean it. It guess it was because the sponge has a lot of tiny holes therefore it was able to go deeply into the small spaces of shoe and thoroughly clean it.

That is probably the reason why it can clean it so easily. Maybe using a leather shoe is just not convincing enough? No worries! I have a cloth-type of shoe awaiting, also white in color 😂 I will try it next time and blog about it again!
